Photography Project about a former GDR city called "Eisenhüttenstadt". This small city is situated 120 km south-east from Berlin. Born under the name "Stalinstadt" in the 1950s, the city was the first socialist model city of the former GDR. Many of its inhabitants used to work for the nearby steel industry, but after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the city's population decreased from 50.000 to 20.000 inhabitants. These photographs show the absence of the children, therefore the title: "The city with no future".
